During the summer season, there are different activities at Norsk Folkemuseum every day. Most Sundays, we feature special program events. In the Open-Air Museum, many of the buildings are open, and a host in traditional folk dress welcomes you.
Norsk Folkemuseum has exhibits in the Open Air Museum and in the indoor exhibit halls. The exhibits feature daily life and living condition in Norway from the 16th century to present time.
Norsk Folkemuseum has large and diverse collections of artefacts, buildings, photographs and archivalia. These collections gives a broad representation of Norwegian and Sámi culture from the 16th century to present.
