Viktor Bomstad is a traditional joiker and experimental musician from Sápmi / Norway. For Sámi National Day, he will offer visitors a close and natural encounter with the joik tradition.

Bomstad is passionate about connecting joik with various musical expressions and soundscapes. His music is often raw, slowly evolving, and trance-like, with a strong emphasis on improvisation.

In 2023–2024, he held the unique position of regional joiker (landsdelsjoiker) in Troms and Finnmark. He frequently performs as a solo artist, with the other “magicians” in Sex Magick Wizards, and in various other bands and musical projects.
