Bus: Take bus "30 Bygdøy" from central Oslo. Handy stops in town include Central Station or National Theatre. The bus stops right outside the museum, and our stop is called "Folkemuseet". The route runs approximately every 10 minutes, and the ride takes about 10 - 15 minutes. (Check schedules and where to buy tickets at ruter.no)
Ferry (March 22 to October 6 - 2024): Ferry no 9 from Rådhusbrygge 3 at the City Hall to Dronningen in Bygdøy. From landing in Bygdøy, there is a 10 minute walk to Norsk Folkemuseum through one of Norways most prosperous areas.
Car/bike/walk: Follow highway E18 West (bike and walking lane alongside the pretty Marina), turn off at Bygdøy. Follow signs to Norsk Folkemuseum.
Parking: Large public parking area just outside the main entrance. For a fee, all days 08:00 - 20:00.
