The Pharmacy Museum

The Museum’s exhibition focus on the development of pharmacy in Norway from the first privileged outlet in 1595 to the 20th century.

  • Open every Sunday from 21 June – 30 August, 10:00–16:00
  • Open for pre-booked guided tours throughout the year.

The permanent exhibitions feature for example the sales areas of "Apoteket Hjorten" (The Deer Pharmacy) from 1860 and Skillebekk apotek from 1960. Old techniques are performed in the laboratory of Frogner apotek.
