Discover The Open Air Museum The Open Air Museum The open-air museum includes 160 buildings from rural and urban Norway – from the Middle Ages to the 20th Century. Here you can see where you can find open houses. Reconstruction Houses from Finnmark In these buildings we tell the story of World War II in Finnmark, of the forced evacuation and the scorching, of the return and the reconstruction after he war – and of every day life on the 1950s. Setesdal A 17th century farmstead, featuring open-hearth houses with a medieval character. Jæren Coastal culture and migration in the early 1900s are the topics that are emphasized in the farmhouse from Jæren. Trøndelag The Trøndelag Farmstead is an example of a 1950s farm in Trøndelag, highlighting rural life and agricultural production. The Apartment Building The 19th Century Apartment Building from Wessels gate 15 in Oslo contains eight period interiors and three exhibitions.
